JEE Advanced, 2013 – How to Apply

Admission to IITs, ISM will be done through a two-tier process this time. A candidate will have to first appear for JEE Mains (Formerly known as AIEEE) and then if he/she falls in the top 1.5 lakh who appeared for the exam, will be allowed to register and sit for JEE Advanced examination (Formerly IIT-JEE).

The registration period for JEE Advanced has been declared officially to be from 8th May, 2013 to 13th May, 2013.

Fee


General candidates – Rs. 1800
SC/ST/PD – Rs. 900
Female candidates– Free

The fee has to be submitted with necessary details during the registration period at any State Bank of India branch having Core Banking Services.

Date of examination


The JEE Advanced examination will be held on 2nd June 2013 (Sunday).

Format of examination


There will be two papers just like earlier IIT-JEE examinations of 3hrs duration each containing objective-type questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Paper 1: 9am – 12 pm (IST)
Paper 2: 2pm – 5pm (IST)
